The following fees and charges will be made, with VAT @ 15% (from 1st January 2010):

Boiler Servicing - from £77.50 inc. VAT (£65.96 net) - for older boilers requiring more work, the price may increase depending on the extra work required such as flue flow and spillage tests (typically between £95 and £115 inc. VAT).

Small plumbing and heating jobs - £52.88 per hour including VAT (£45 net).  For local jobs (within 5-mile radius of TN6 1RQ), a minimum charge of £26.44 inc VAT (£22.50 net) will be made.   For jobs beyond that, a minimum charge of £52.88 including VAT will apply, to cover cost of travel and travel time to/from the customer's premises.  Time over the first hour will be charged pro rata £45+VAT per hour. 

A 'small job' is defined as one that will take less than half a day, e.g. tap change, tap re-washering/re-seating, float valve change.  Should circumstances at the premises require more time to be spent, additional charges will be agreed with the customer before carrying out the work.  (See Terms and Conditions.)

Large plumbing and heating jobs - £235.00 per day including VAT (£200 net).

Materials - all jobs - will be itemised on estimates or invoices;  charged at current VAT inclusive prices - may vary from estimates, depending on supplier used and whether price changes have occurred.

Emergency Call-outs - a minimum charge of £65 including VAT (£55.32 net) applies for all emergency works carried out between 17:30 and 08:00 Monday to Friday, and any time Saturday/Sunday, or where the job has been requested by the customer at less than 24 hours notice, which requires rescheduling of other jobs.  This covers work for up to the first hour, thereafter an hourly rate of £55.00 including VAT (£46.81 net) will be charged pro rata.
